Snow 2010 (January)

Just two days into the working year, it decided to snow quite heavily. Luckily it was overnight (here), so we didn't get anyone trapped in.

Note that these pictures are a little bit dark - I haven't set the camera up for snow yet, so I'll probably experiment lunch time.

This is the view just outside my house:

And a bit further down the road (nearer the office, but back towards home):

And at the same spot pointing towards the office:

It was easier to walk on the road than the path:

And as you leave the village:

This is a view across the main road into fields. The street sign has a fair covering:

But some people braved the roads:

The office car park is a bit barren:

I then did a 180° panoramic view:

The person getting into the building is the security guard - who may be blocked in today...

I took some pictures from inside the office (much warmer!)

One of the branches had collapsed due to the weight of the snow, blocking the road a bit.

This is the picture of the same bit earlier on (in case you can't find it!) - just a little to the left:

But the roads were much better!
